THE OBJECTIVE
Intel Converged Communications, Inc.’s Telecommunications and Embedded Group was seeking a training and sales tool for use in their global markets. The information it contained needed to be technically accurate but presented in an interesting, marketing-oriented manner.

THE STRATEGY
We designed, programmed and produced a multimedia CD Rom for the division titled: Give your solutions a voice – Application enabling building blocks. It was 45 minutes in duration and divided into four sections. The CD was used as a training tool for Intel sales personnel and for their customers’ software developers and integrators who were charged with implementation of the solutions.
  • A Solutions section with full narration and Flash graphic illustration provided a step-by-step transformation of a basic call center into a multi-site, cross-media contact center.
  • The Products section was very complex and, with full narration, illustrated the technical workings of each of the Intel products/building blocks. The designs demonstrated the function of each product and the manner in which voice, telephony and data networks interacted. Again, the Flash content highlighted each product, both hardware and software, used to transform the call center to a fully operational contact center.
  • A Services section detailed the Intel services available to streamline the communications solutions life cycle. From planning, through design, implementation and management, Intel could provide all the various services required by their customers for a successful solution. These were all illustrated through graphic treatment and narration using Flash technology.
  • Finally, an extensive Resources section was provided that contained PDFs of brochures, data sheets, case studies, and white papers, as well as key web links and a contact Intel link. Adobe Reader download link was also included.
  • The CD was programmed to auto-play and there was a 30 second Flash introduction. Full navigation was provided to play, pause, repeat, start over, end, jump to another section, etc. so that the trainer/presenter had complete control over the presentation.
  • We designed the paper wallet and managed production of 10,000 CDs ready for distribution at trade-shows, as leave-behinds and for training sessions.
THE RESULTS
All proposals and presentations were well received and helped in closing a variety of major accounts which due to confidentiality we cannot divulge the names.
