Director of Media and Public Relations

Lisa Edwards joined Bresette + Company in July of 2010 as Director of Media and Public Releations after interning part-time for several months, while also working a full-time job. Lisa graduated from the University of New Hampshire and holds a BA in English, with concentration in creative writing; including Newswriting, Editing, Creative Non-Fiction and Poetry. Lisa brings with her a passion for writing, as well as a deep appreciation for creativity and innovative thinking.

During her time at UNH, Lisa sharpened her writing and editing skills, spending the majority of her time with a pen in hand. One of her articles published in UNH’s weekly newspaper, The New Hampshire, was also picked up by UWire, an online publication for Colleges and Universities.

Prior to Bresette + Company, Lisa worked as a Vendor Service Representative at a local leasing company, where she formed strong working relationships with a variety of equipment vendors; from office equipment to heavy construction equipment, as well as with lending representatives and clients. From there she went on to work for a local insurance company, beginning as a Premium Analyst and quickly promoted to Team Lead. She eventually was promoted to Team Trainer/Documentation Specialist, where she trained a team of 8, as well as drafted customer correspondence, procedures and proposals for business process changes.

Originally from the Boston area, she will always have a place in her heart for the big city and dirty water, but much prefers the view of the Piscataqua River. An avid runner, Lisa also enjoys skiing, hiking and writing poetry. She has a cat named Elvis, and currently lives in the quaint and historic town of Exeter, NH.
